Beverly June Runge

Beverly June Runge, 87, of Barton City, died peacefully Nov. 17 2017, at home with family and friends by her side. She was born May 10,1930. She spent her most of her life in the Detroit Metro area and retired to Barton City in later years. She worked for many years at the Hyatt Regency in Dearborn. Beverly enjoyed many happy times with family and friends. She was an avid reader of the Bible and enjoyed church service on Sunday , singing in the choir and talking with children of any age. Beverly is survived by her sons Thomas and Randy, and daughter Kathy. She is also survived by many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Beverly was predeceased in death by her parents; husband of 52 years Joseph, daughters Pam and Linda, and sons Charles and Donny. Mrs. Runge is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where friends may call on Sunday, November 19, from 1:00 until the funeral service at 3:00 PM. Rev. Laraine Sundin will officiate. Interment will follow on a later date at East Leland Cemetery in Leland, MI. The family wishes to express great appreciation to her long time caregiver Colleen and her family who made her final years on this earth as peaceful and joy filled as a person could want .
