David A. Woods

David A. Woods, 66, of Barton City, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at MidMichigan Medical Center, Alpena. Born October 24, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son ofJohn and Jeanne (McDermott) Wood. He was raised in Monroe, MI. David was a longtime resident of Barton City. He enjoyed the out of doors, especially hunting and riding his four-wheeler. He was a member of the Barton City Eagles Club Aerie 4141. David is survived by his mother, Jeanne Woods of Monroe, one sister, Debby (Jim) Kansier of Monroe, one brother, Jeff (Marva) Woods of Monroe, one niece, Kacie (Matt) Stanfill, two nephews, Christopher (Megan) Kansier, and Jeffrey (Nikki) Kansier, and seven great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John Woods. Private family services will be held. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
