Maxine M. Humphrey

Maxine M. Humphrey 94, of Harrisville died Tuesday, November 2, 2016 at Jamieson Nursing Center. She was born in Punxsutawney, PA on August 22, 1922 to Andrew and Mary (Kupetz) Kaza. She married John Humphrey in Detroit on November 24, 1945. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2013. She enjoyed walks on the beach, attending plays, an occasional trip to a casino, but mostly spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Humphrey is survived by her four daughters Kathleen (James) Holderman, Mary (Richard) Forrest, Phyllis (Robert) Frase and Barbara (Thomas) Gibbings, stepson James (Nancy) Humphrey, two step-grandchildren Michael and Brian Humphrey and one step-grandchild (Gracie) six grandchildren Saylor (Stacy) Frase, Monica (Nick) Ebelhar, A.J. (Kristen) Forrest, Margaret and Emily Gibbings; eight great grandchildren Sagan and Saylor Frase. Caroline and Bennett Ebelhar, Aubrey and Cooper Forrest, Keegan Danielkiewicz and Frankie Shearer. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters Mary, Margaret and Elizabeth Kaza and two brothers Andrew and John Kaza and one grandson Jeffrey Forrest.
