Frank John Pettit

Frank John Pettit, 62, of Alpena, passed away Friday, September 16, 2016 at his sister’s home in Harrisville. Born January 12, 1954, to Frank G. and Pauline M. (Hustko) Pettit in Walled Lake, MI, he was raised in Dearborn Heights, and in Alcona County, where he resided for most of his life. He recently moved to Alpena. Frank was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed gardening, hunting, and taking walks. He liked restoring cars, and loved music, sports and watching movies. Frank is survived by his daughter, Dana Pettit of Alpena, two sisters, Lisa Sanborn and Dianne Owen, one niece, Lydia Sanborn, one nephew, Gerald Collins, and two great nephews, Jesse and William Collins. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his nephew Branden Collins. There will be a graveside service Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Mikado Cemetery.
