Michael Thomas (Mick) Dudler, 71, of Lincoln died on Saturday, June 4th, 2016 in Alpena. He was born on May 17th, 1945 in Detroit, Mi to Michael and Virginia (McKay- Franklin) Dudler. He was raised in Berkley and Royal Oak and graduated from Royal Oak Dondero High School. Mr. Dudler was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lincoln, the Alcona Democratic Party, and The Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 4141 Barton City, Mi. He enjoyed bowling and horseshoes and was a big Michigan State Spartans Basketball and Football fan and liked the Great Lakes Loons Baseball team. He worked at ACCOA, Shelter Inc. and the Alcona Humane Society. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and had a special place in his heart for his dog, J.R. and his cat, Crissy. Mr. Dudler is survived by one brother, Gregory Dudler of Lincoln; four sisters: Julia (Larry) Sullivan of Satellite Beach, Fl, Caroline (George) Wentzel of Troy, Mi, Beverly (Herb) Acord of Glennie, and Pamela Reid of Erie, Mi; many nieces and nephews; one aunt, Elaine Medor of Lincoln; two uncles, Theron (Karen) Franklin of Waterford, Mi and Donald (Jan) Franklin of Harrisville. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Paul Dudler and David Dudler; two brothers-in-law, Paul Seminoff and David Reid; and one great niece, Savannah Sullivan. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 11:00 AM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Dr. Rev. Arie Van Brenk will officiate. The family is planning David Dudler’s memorial at this time also. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the First Baptist Church of Lincoln.
