John L Skuse

John L. Skuse, 71, of Lincoln, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016 at MidMichigan Medical Center, Alpena. Born September 24, 1944 to Thomas and Doreen (Bolton) Skuse in Harrisville, he was a lifelong resident of Alcona County. John enjoyed the out of doors, especially camping and raising his animals. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. John is survived by two sons, Carl (Teri) Skuse of Mikado, and Robert Skuse of Oscoda, seven grandchildren, one sister, Dorothy Spahr of Lincoln, and two brothers, Bob Skuse of Alpena, and Merlin (Joann) Skuse of Idaho. He was preceded in death by his sister, Isabelle Berkanpas. Mr. Skuse is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where friends may call Friday, May 6, 2016 from 1:00 PM until the funeral service at 3:00 PM. Burial will be in Twin Lakes Cemetery, Lincoln.
