Larry George Duby, 76, of Lincoln, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at his home. Born September 8, 1939 to George L. and Esther M. (Clark) Duby in Warren, MI, he was raised in Oscoda, MI. After graduating from Oscoda High School, Larry served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for Saginaw Steering Gear. On December 22, 1972, he married Kathy Alexander in Saginaw, and they were residents of Frankenmuth, retiring to Lincoln in 1998. They spent winters in Naples, Florida, where they had many friends. Larry was a member of the Frankenmuth and Lincoln Lions Clubs, and of the Shriners. He enjoyed boating, hunting, and fishing, and was an excellent cook. He is survived by his wife, Kathy, daughter, Jacqueline (Jim) Zeimet, son, Randy (Dianne) Duby, four grandchildren, Lilia, Nicolas, and Dayne Zeimet and Ashton Duby, and his brother-in-law, Bob (Pat) Alexander. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln. There will be a Masonic service Friday, October 30, 2015 at 2:30 PM, with a memorial service following at 3:00 PM at Gillies Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors beginning at 2:00 PM.
