David L. Summers

David L. Summers, 62, of Harrisville, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Tendercare Alpena. Born January 17, 1953, to Gerald and Hazel (Brown) Summers in Kingman, Indiana, he was raised there. On April 5, 1980, he married Gillian Roberts in Titchmarsh, England, and moved to Harrisville in 1981. David spent his career with the United States Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1991. He loved golf, and enjoyed reading. David is survived by his wife, Gillian, and his sister, Kay Tillson of New Jersey, as well as his extended family in England. A memorial service will be held at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 2, 2015. Rev. Laraine Sundin will officiate. Cremation arrangements have been made.
