Earl James Trigger, 89, of Hubbard Lake, formerly of Flint, MI, passed away Friday, November 28, 2014 Earl was born November 7, 1925, in Flint, MI to James and Vera (Barclay) Trigger. Earl served in the US Navy during WWII. He was trained at the University of Minnesota. He worked at Fischer Body in Flint and retired as a maintenance general foreman after 34 years of service. He enjoyed snow skiing, boating, woodworking, fishing, and spending time with his family. Earl was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis (Samson) Trigger. He is survived by his wife, Nona Trigger, his children, Tom (Debbie) Trigger and Larry (Barbara) Trigger, three grandchildren, three step children, four step grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. until the Memorial Service at 2:00 P.M. at the Spruce Presbyterian Church. Memorial donations suggested to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, P.O. Box 1525, Ranson WV, 25438-0018, or to the Free Clinic of Alpena, 1600 W. Chisholm, Alpena, MI 49707.
