Carol Lynn Saari

Carol Lynn Saari, 66, of Presque Isle, MI passed away at her home Thursday, October 9, 2014. She was born in Detroit on December 22, 1947 to Joe L. and Marjorie (Payne) Hudgins. She was raised in Bradenton, FL and Livonia, MI, where she graduated from high school and on October 12, 1974 she married Robert Saari. They lived in Garden City after their marriage, then in Jackson for many years. Carol and Robert have made their home in Presque Isle since 1996. Mrs. Saari is survived by her husband, her brother Stephen (Linda) Hudgins of Lincoln, many nieces and nephews including, Traci (Roddy) Rasmussen, Gary Hudgins, and Lynne(Chris) Buscemi, and her favorite dog Max. She was preceded in death by her brother Gary in 1981. Visitation for Mrs. Carol Saari will begin at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 13, 2014 at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, and conclude with her funeral service at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Robert Coen officiating.
