Virginia Mack

Virginia Mack, 88, of Harrisville, died Thursday, July 24, 3014 at the Maple Grove Adult Foster Care Home in Barton City. She was born September 2, 1925 in Barton City to Herman and Helena (Godt) Vonfintel. She was raised in Barton City, resided in Detroit and Chicago and retired to Clearwater Fl, returning to Harrisville in 2013 to live with family. She enjoyed playing bingo, bowling, and eating out. Virginia was a longtime employee of Goldblatt’s Department Stores of Chicago before retiring. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Stealey in 2004 and three brothers, Leo, Herbert and Bernard Vonfintel. She is survived by her sister, Hilda Vonfintel of Farmington Hills, many nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great great nieces and great great nephews. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. Her ashes will be interred at Twin Lakes Cemetery, Lincoln.
