Barry F. LaFave

Barry Franklin LaFave, 61, of Oscoda, passed away Tuesday December, 17, 2013 at Jamieson Nursing Home, Harrisville, MI. He was born May 18, 1952 in Black River to Edward and Yvonne (Potvin) LaFave. Barry was raised in Black River later living in Lincoln and Greenbush, recently moving to Oscoda.In 1989 he married Sharyn Thompson. He is survived by his wife, one son Jeffrey (Angie) of Lincoln, six brothers; Don (Sharon) of Black River, James (Marcia) of Alpena, Kim (Tamara) of Black River, Duane (Faith) of Spruce, Scott (Laurie) of Hubbard Lake, and Darryl (Hope) of Harrisville, two sisters: Janet DeLorge of Ossineke and DeEtta (Jeff) Campbell of Lewiston, and three grandchildren; Sage, Krista and Cooper LaFave. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lois LaVergne in 2005 and his parents. Mr. LaFave is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln where visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013 from 4:00 P.M. until the funeral at 7:00 P.M..
